I think the main thing I want here is obsession. I am really interested in the ways Internet/social media era parasocial relationships can go horribly wrong and this is definitely a ship that delivers with that. If these two ended up as girlfriends (or just having sex) what would have been running through Ingrid’s mind? Or maybe a canon divergence AU where Ingrid’s obsession and admiration leads to murder. Or what happens to their dynamic postcanon? Do the roles reverse (that could be one way to explore how Taylor isn’t what she seems)? If you wanna go total AU I’d be here for a fifties AU considering that this canon was inspired by The Talented Mr. Ripley.

I am fascinated by the twistyness inherent to this ship. I love it so much. Any excuse you can find to give these two more interactions than they got in canon would be wonderful (although I imagine pre-canon fic where they never technically interact at all within the scope of the story could still work as shipfic given the nature of the situation). Just how they’re intertwined and how they’re different and all the resentment and revenge and trying to survive and conflicts between good and evil or hero and villain where there’s no easy answer as to which side is which. Explorations of what they think about one another exactly would be great. Also feel free to absolutely fuck with my head over which one is which, I feel canon warrants that.

I thought their dynamic was so cute! I would love to read about their further adventures involving vampire mentorship. What else does Jenna have to learn? Does Nadja have something left to learn herself? How does their relationship progress? Also while I love the tone and humor and canon and would be delighted with fic that sticks to that, if you wanna write straight up darkfic about these two that’s something I would be highly intrigued by.
