Alright so my prompts are below. They are exactly as they appear in the sign up, like word for word, just all together now. It’s an organization thing for me.

Irene Adler/Kitty Winter- Who is your Irene Adler for this verse? I would love it if you went back to her roots as an opera singer and did something with performing arts, but if you have a different vision go for it. Who is your Kitty Winter? I see her being an ex-con working really well, but again if you have a different vision go for it. How do these two ladies know each other? What is their relationship like?
Mycroft Holmes/Sherlock Holmes- Is Mycroft a youth pastor or a politician or a cop or something else entirely? What is his dynamic with his brother like? I would prefer it if things were still rocky, but how much so is up to you. Also how the incest part factors in is up to you.
Sherlock Holmes/Charles Augustus Milverton- I feel Milverton is a really underutilized villain when it comes to Sherlock Holmes adaptations, and I would love to see your take on him for this verse. What is the nature of his blackmail? Does Sherlock know him outside of his crimes? I hope you keep the gold glasses but if you don’t want to that’s cool too. Go wild. Part of what I like about this verse is that nothing aside from the character of Sherlock Holmes and the setting are set in stone and anyone can do whatever they want with them.
Sherlock Holmes/Lestrade- What sort of cop is Lestrade? How is his relationship with Sherlock different from Sherlock’s relationship with the rest of the police force if at all (aside from the slash part of course)? If Sherlock is underaged how does Lestrade feel about that? If your Sherlock is an addict, recovering or otherwise, does that color his interactions with Lestrade in any way?
Sherlock Holmes/James Moriarty- I’ve seen a few different interpretations of Moriarty for this verse from drug dealer to cooperate executive? What’s yours? Does he have a past of any sort with Sherlock? Is he Sherlock’s greatest nemesis in this verse or not at all? Also, feel free to ignore this bit, I have always had a soft spot for stories where Sherlock runs off with Moriarty and joins in on his wicked plans.
Another Country (1984)
Guy Bennett/Tommy Judd- After watching this movie I wished two things about it. First, that it had started around the point it had ended, and second, that these two had gotten together. So that’s essentially what this request is, post-canon fic where they get together. I see potential for it going forward for the two of them. Also if you wanna make it so that Tommy Judd didn’t die during the Spanish Civil War after all that would be very kind to my heart (although if you wanted to stay canon compliant with that point and bring on the angst I would very likely love that as well). If you don’t wanna go post-canon I’d also be down with pining and not understanding their own emotions.
Guy Bennett/James Harcourt- I found their courtship to be quite adorable, and I’m just asking for more of that. Although the not necessarily so fluffy future of their relationship, considering the era and later treason, could be really, really interesting to explore.
DCU (Comics)
John Constantine/Alec Holland- Just these two giving each other a hard time and never ever letting up but loving each other a whole lot. My needs in this department are simple.
Harvey Dent/Bruce Wayne- Just break my heart, won’t ya? Whether it be through the sheer force of dramatic irony in a pre canon fluff fic to complicated feelings and divides set now. I just love how Bruce really cares about Harvey and refuses to give up on him. Also I love it when Harvey loves Bruce and despises Batman without knowing they are one and the same (although he may suspect a connection but he assumes they just know each other or something).
Jay Garrick/Alan Scott- This is a really good pairing for Golden Age shenanigans. Also outsider perspective about them in their civilian identities in the “why does that college student know that broadcaster?” sort of way could be fun. If you wanna go with someone thing set when they are older then I’d something that focused on how close the decades brought them together.
Joan Garrick/Molly Mayne- I really love Golden age Joan. She was tough and strong minded. She was exactly the sort of person it took to get what she wanted. She isn’t taking anybody’s shit and I love her for it. I have also always been interested in the way Molly’s villainous deeds are rooted from a desire for attention rather than maliciousness. They are pranks more than anything else. Joan worked hard to get where she is, how would she react to Molly who was born into wealth and privilege yet isn’t satisfied with her life? Although if you wanna write fic where they are older you could totally pull a Grace and Frankie type situation and I will love you.
Barbara Gordon/Bette Kane- The tennis champ and the commissioner’s daughter. What would bring these two together? Does Bette harbor any feelings of resentment about Babs being the new Batgirl? Does Barbara have any opinions on Bette’s time as Batgirl?
Pamela Isley/Selina Kyle- Ooooooh. These two could have some fun together. That’s really all I have in mind. Them being terrible, awful, criminal, and having a lot of fun together.
Hal Jordan/Kyle Rayner- I would love something set during the era where Hal was a villain for these two featuring all the foe yay and complicated, conflicted emotions. Alternatively I would also love fic where Hal is a good guy who is trying to take Kyle under his wings and show him the ropes (even if Kyle has already advanced past anything Hal had achieved as Green Lantern at that point he would still try) featuring them getting to know and like/love each other. Also Hal taking Kyle flying would be good.
Selina Kyle/Holly Robinson- Holly is arguably the one Selina cares about most, and I just wanna see some more of that. Just give me moments of their life together. Anything from fluffy to dark. Just fill it to the brim with love, even if it’s complicated love (let’s be honest, especially if it’s complicated love).
Tara Markov/Rose Wilson- Considering Tara’s past with Slade Wilson, her entering into a relationship with Rose Wilson has the potential to be delightfully fucked up and I am here for every moment of. I like Tara to be a little bratty and for Rose to react to it. I like Rose to feel for Tara’s past, even a little bit, and for Tara not to know that. My mental image for this is old brick buildings, cigarettes, and bloody noses. Make of that what you will.
Hartley Rathaway/Wally West- Dorks. Both of them. But they’re dorks in love. Give me them as dorks in love. I would also appreciate any of the typical dark/angsty villain/hero tropes as well. These two things are not inherently mutually exclusive.
Deadpool (Movieverse)
Dopinder/Wade Wilson- I think they would work well together. They are very affectionate towards each other. Did you see that face stroking? Dopinder has grown into a bloodthirsty killer, yes, but he’s still so sweet on Wade. He wants to destroy Wade’s enemies. Just get them together. Also the Interview with a Vampire joke made me want a vampire au for these two, sorry not sorry.
Ellie Phimister/Yukio- They made such a cute couple in this movie, but there wasn’t nearly enough of them for my taste. How did they get together? Have any ideas for some of the adventures/dates they’ve gone on together? For some reason I’m imagining them getting ice cream. Do with that what you will. I’m kinda expecting to get fluff if I get this pairing (which would be wonderful, again they are super cute, and my other prompts are fluffy), but I’d be pretty impressed by a fic of these two that has a dark tone. Mostly because I can’t quite picture it myself even though I know it can be done.
Nathan Summers/Wade Wilson- Cable essentially gave up his everything for Deadpool’s sake at the end of this movie and I found that super touching. Them after this movie with them very much in love but Cable taking a while to not be difficult about his feelings. Or them on the run together! Also one thing I’ve always appreciated about these two is how well they play off each other and balance each other out.
Piotr Rasputin/Wade Wilson- Look, Vanessa wouldn’t have said, “Don’t fuck Colossus,” if she didn’t see a reasonable chance of that happening. So Wade very clearly has feelings for Piotr, but what would it take for Piotr to reciprocate? If Piotr already reciprocates then what would it take for Piotr to act on it rather than just reject Wade’s advances?
Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell - Susanna Clarke
Stephen Black/The Gentleman With the Thistledown Hair- Their whole plotline was hands down one of my favorite parts of this book. The Gentleman adores Stephen and is so devoted to him, but at the same time just doesn’t get it. Stephen is very tired.
Lord Byron/Jonathan Strange- There’s just something special about the way Jonathan’s madness changed everything for Lord Byron. I would love it if you wrote something happening between them at that point in the story. I would also appreciate some of weird love poems Byron totally considered writing about Strange.
Flora Greysteel/Arabella Strange- Post-canon would probably work best for these two, but if you see it differently go for it. I don’t really have much to say aside from that I love the concept of it.
Gilbert Norrell/Jonathan Strange- Anything you have to say about their time as teacher and student? What about after the book when they’re essentially stuck with each other?
Emma Pole/Arabella Strange- I really liked their friendship in this book so maybe something set in that part of the book where Arabella spends a lot of time listening to Emma and Emma spends a lot time trying to explain her situation. Something set when they are both in the fairy court would be equally good.
Arabella Strange/Henry Woodhope- I don’t care if it’s pre canon or post canon or somehow during canon (maybe when Jonathan is away at war?) just give me these two being more than a little too close. Angst over Arabella’s “death” would also be great.
Jonathan Strange/Henry Woodhope- Arabella’s “death” causing them to grow close in a way they wouldn’t have otherwise imagined. Jonathan clinging to Henry because of Arabella’s memory and eventually inventing reasons that Henry reminds him of Arabella in a comforting way that are thin at best. Something could probably be done with the letters Strange sent Henry.
Killing Eve (TV 2018)
Elena Felton/Eve Polastri- Maybe dealing with pain and trauma and sadness together. Maybe them teasing each other lovingly. Maybe Eve taking Elena to Paris. Maybe Elena has a dark side we haven’t seen yet that Eve would be very attracted to. Any way you decide to go I’m down.
Nadia Kadomtseva/Villanelle | Oksana Astankova- I would love to see what their relationship was like in prison. That or maybe Villanelle’s thoughts on Nadia after the fact.
Anna Leonova/Villanelle | Oksana Astankova- I am so intrigued by their past relationship. It is so much my jam it’s actually hard to explain. Just give me all the fucked up fluffy teacher/student stuff between a budding psychopath of a student and a teacher that is more morally ambiguous than she likes to appear. Also that was a whole lot of letters Anna had. Surely something could be done with that. Oh! And in one episode Villanelle was asked if she had been dreaming about Anna again. That could be something to explore.
Eve Polastri/Villanelle | Oksana Astankova- This show had me so intrigued I had to stop myself from watching it all in one sitting, and their dynamic had a lot to do with it. I love their mutual obsession, love, and hatred. I love how they are so different yet more alike than they think. I love how they interact. It’s a game of cat and mouse, but who’s the cat and who’s the mouse? I would love to see what you think happens after the season one finale or canon divergence where Eve didn’t stab her (at least not then).
The Magnus Archives (Podcast)
Georgie Barker/Melanie King- I could totally see these two having a past relationship, and it would be great. I could also see these two having a future relationship, and it would be be great. Also explorations of Georgie’s lack of fear could be pretty interesting.
Martin Blackwood/Elias Bouchard- Martin managed to surprise Elias. How will it change their dynamic now that Elias is unlikely to underestimate him in the way he did before (but is still just as likely to try to manipulate him)? I would also like fic featuring Elias being a total creep set either pre-canon shortly after Martin was hired or during season one when Martin was living at the Archives.
Martin Blackwood/Peter Lukas- Peter seems to be genuinely fond of Martin even if his cheery tone is generally dripping with malice (especially in that line about how they were going to do “great things” from the finale). Martin is scared of Peter and Peter seems to genuinely enjoy that. Also with how isolated Martin is and what the Lukases worship there is certainly room to worry. I can see their dynamic going all sorts of wonderful places (well probably not wonderful from Martin’s perspective).
Martin Blackwood/Tim Stoker- They are both characters who care a whole awful lot but boy do they go about it differently. They deal with problems differently in general. The would clash and compliment each other at the same time in a relationship. Also worried Martin and angry Tim is great combination for their interactions.
Trevor Herbert/Julia Montauk- I enjoyed the whole old married couple vibe they gave off so much. They really complete each other. I would love to hear about more of their adventures together.
Basira Hussain/Melanie King- Them clinging together and growing closer through everything they’ve suffered in the would be great. I would also love them having fun and shit talking and being happy.
Basira Hussain/Alice “Daisy” Tonner- They love each other so much. Maybe something set during their time on the force together or when Basira was essentially a professional hostage. Delving into Daisy’s murdery side and Basira’s thoughts on that is always good.
Gerard Keay/Trevor Herbert/Julia Montauk- I had never thought about it before I saw it in the tag set, but I really like the idea of Gerard being a part of this relationship. Especially since with how he feels about his life after death to call how that would go complicated would be be an understatement. I love it.
Gerard Keay/Gertrude Robinson- There’s just something special about the way Gerard’s mommy issues clearly factored into their relationship and the way that Gertrude was very much using him and all the secrecy and lies that makes this so appealing to me. I would love something set when they’re running around America.
Mary Keay/Gertrude Robinson- Give me a story about two ruthless women who for the most part work against each other but have a strange romantic connection at the same time. Just all the foe yay.
Julia Montauk/Robert Montauk- What I want from this is just things being super creepy and fucked up. Robert was a serial killer and Julia was the most important person in the world to him. Creepy and fucked up can be done here whether it’s set before he was caught or when she visited him in jail. Perhaps she was so important that exactly what she was to him began to blur in his mind. I would also appreciate news articles or true crime books or documentaries speculating on the true nature of their relationship.
Julia Montauk/Alice “Daisy” Tonner- Their urges to kill, to hunt would go so well together if they ever met. Oh, it would be a beautiful and bloody courtship.
Gertrude Robinson/Michael Shelley- He adored her so much his heart could hardly contain it. That much was clear from the time we heard that old recording of him. Explore that adoration and how Gertrude uses it.
Danny Stoker/Tim Stoker- Maybe something set before Danny’s death that strangles us with the dramatic irony or maybe something after Danny’s death but before Tim knows what to and is utterly destroyed and is starting to realize his feelings might have been different than what he thought. Maybe something involving Tim and Not!Danny with Tim finding Not!Danny disturbing her intriguing (that is if he hasn’t been brainwashed, if he has then he’s happy and doesn’t know anything is wrong).
Maniac (TV 2018)
Annie Landsberg/Ellie Landsberg- Ellie was so important to Annie that when she died Annie lost a huge part of herself. I would like anything for them from weird moments between them in their past when they were going through tough times and needed to be close to make it to Annie’s feelings for Ellie becoming infinity more complex and weird after her death. Also with all the universes Annie went through in the trial that there has to be at least one where they were something other than sisters (or better yet, still sisters but are very much involved).
Annie Landsberg & or / Owen Milgrim- With that ending I would adore it to pieces if you showed me some postcanon moments on the way to Salt Lake City or even once they get there. That would be golden. Also I love AUs and this canon is perfect for them. If you wanna expand upon any of the universes we saw in the scenarios or create a new one yourself I welcome you to it.
Greta Mantleray/James Mantleray- Oh boy, does James have mommy issues. They’re so extreme they almost read as Oedipal. Explore that please.
Jed Milgrim/Owen Milgrim- This has the potential to be super fucked up with how borderline psychopathic Jed is and how messed up Owen’s dynamic with his family in general is. I’m here for every moment of complicated disturbingness. Also considering Owen’s issues, that simulation where Jed adored him couldn’t have been the only one (although I’d be interested in AUs where Jed is still awful to him as well, or maybe ones where he sits somewhere in between).
Marvel (Comics)
Liz Allan/Betty Brant- The original spider ladies! Something from that early era of canon when they were essentially the only spider ladies would be lovely. On a completely different note I think a supervillain au would be wonderful for these two.
Frank Castle/Marc Spector- I really love the friendship and mutual respect for each other that we sometimes see in the comics. They compliment each other well. I would love fic of them absolutely kicking ass together and falling in love. Also a Fight Club au featuring these two would be great and you know it.
Lorna Dane/Wanda Maximoff- I am very interested in how these two deal with each other and how they feel about each other. What makes them different and what makes them the same? Also who would be the one to initiate things?
Bobby Drake/Warren Worthington III- We know Bobby has a crush on Warren. Just let it be requited. These two would lend themselves well to fluff. Also I think blood that heals people is a wonderfully gruesome take on the role of the medic as well as an underrated power Warren had, and fic for this pairing with Warren as the angel of death would be yes.
Emma Frost/Angelica Jones- Give me all the twisted student teacher stuff where Emma is being horribly manipulative and Angelica is naive and needs a hug. I mean there is already canonical gaslighting.
Felicia Hardy/Mary Jane Watson- The party girl and the bad girl. I see plenty of glitter and hopping fences and meetings in the dark of the night. Maybe it was supposed to be a meaningless, anonymous one night stand, but it didn’t stay that way. Now there’s feelings. Also Mary Jane having a lot of anger (maybe twinged with grief) and Felicia dealing with it. Also this is definitely an age gap pairing for me (with Felicia as the elder), but if you wanna make them the same age I’d be happy with that too.
Matt Murdock/Peter Parker- These two could really bring out the best in each other. They could also bring out the worst in each other. The later is slightly more likely. They’ve known each other forever (from almost the start of Peter’s time as Spider-Man), and you could really put them together at any point in that forever and I’d be down. They have a lot of trust in each other. Also sparring and Peter’s twisted sense of humor and anger issues.
Matt Murdock/Marc Spector- I’m just intrigued by this idea. I think they work really well as foils. How would Matt deal with Marc? What would Marc think of Matt? How would they get together in the first place? What would a relationship between them be like? While I’m not quite sure of the answers to these questions they fascinate me.
Elektra Natchios/Natasha Romanov- So similar and yet so different. Them being antagonistic and flirty would be great, but seeing them actually get along would also be great. I tend to imagine them in the same place with goals that cannot coexist.
Peter Parker/Flash Thompson- There’s so much that can be done with this ship and I love it all. From tension between a bully and a nerd who used to be friends to somehow becoming friends again and new feelings emerge as they navigate this new ground to old friends who have seen a lot in their young lives and are tired.
Illyana Rasputin/Rahne Sinclair- Illyana is a witch and Rahne is a werewolf. Rahne is very religious and Illyana was raised in hell. Just give me all the horror with religious undertones/imagery (that second part is totally optional but the foundation is there). You can go on the more spooky side of scale if you don’t want to write anything scary but I do want it to be the sort of creepy a story about a witch and a werewolf can give us. Just I can see mist over the moors and screams from hell and pentagrams and an almost full moon. I know in the early days of the New Mutants Rahne didn’t like Illyana and so it could be interesting to explore her feeling the way she did in canon while also having a crush. For some reason I associate the song Unchained Melody with them, do whatever you like with that information.
Gwen Stacy/Mary Jane Watson- Give them the happy ending they deserve. Or you can bring the angst. You could probably still manage angst even in AUs where Gwen didn’t die. Any way you decide to go I am here for these two.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)
Ganke Lee/Miles Morales- We didn’t get much of Ganke in this movie, but I liked what we did get. I think there’s a million places you can take these two post canon especially with the identity reveal at the end. Also I think these two would be adorable together which is what really matters.
Miles Morales/Peter Parker- The only way I can really see this happening storywise is if you go canon divergence au where Peter doesn’t die ten minutes after meeting Miles and actually does get to mentor him, but if you see things different go for it. Oh! The ghost of Peter Parker would probably also work. But just all of the idolizing hero worship on Miles’s part and not being as perfect as he seems on Peter’s part.
Miles Morales/Peter Benjamin Parker- I really appreciated how odd Spider-Noir was and how screwy his attempts to provide guidance were (like when he essentially congratulated Miles for having a great tragic backstory). I wanna see more of that with a dash of greyscale morality angst (get it cause he’s in black and white, I’m so funny). Just playing around with any classic Noir tropes would be great. Also is there a Miles Morales in Spider-Noir’s world? What is he like? What are his interactions with Spider-Noir like?
May Parker/Olivia Octavius- So, Aunt May/Doctor Octopus has been one of the rare pairs of my heart for years now. I don’t think I need to say how good this movie was to me in that regard. I’m generally very excited about this pairing. Just, how did they meet? What was their past relationship like? Were they on good terms afterwards? Did the romantic relationship ever actually end? Also Liv moving in with May and Peter and Peter just internally screaming the whole time because Liv is a super villain is something I would find very funny.
Peni Parker/Peter Benjamin Parker- He seemed to get along with her very well and was kind to her. I liked the way he would comfort her. Also Peni is a much more serious and tragic character in the comics and I feel like the inherent grimdarkness of Spider-Noir’s world could be a way to explore that within this incarnation of the character.
Peter B. Parker/Peter Benjamin Parker- They are both disasters in their own way, but in different enough ways that I think them being disasters together would work out pretty well. Or at least it would be entertaining. Either way I’m there with popcorn.

Does he have a past of any sort with Sherlock? Is he Sherlock’s greatest nemesis in this verse or not at all? Also, feel free to ignore this bit, I have always had a soft spot for stories where Sherlock runs off with Moriarty and joins in on his wicked plans.
Another Country (1984)
Guy Bennett/Tommy Judd- After watching this movie I wished two things about it. First, that it had started around the point it had ended, and second, that these two had gotten together. So that’s essentially what this request is, post-canon fic where they get together. I see potential for it going forward for the two of them. Also if you wanna make it so that Tommy Judd didn’t die during the Spanish Civil War after all that would be very kind to my heart (although if you wanted to stay canon compliant with that point and bring on the angst I would very likely love that as well). If you don’t wanna go post-canon I’d also be down with pining and not understanding their own emotions.
Guy Bennett/James Harcourt- I found their courtship to be quite adorable, and I’m just asking for more of that. Although the not necessarily so fluffy future of their relationship, considering the era and later treason, could be really, really interesting to explore.
DCU (Comics)
John Constantine/Alec Holland- Just these two giving each other a hard time and never ever letting up but loving each other a whole lot. My needs in this department are simple.
Harvey Dent/Bruce Wayne- Just break my heart, won’t ya? Whether it be through the sheer force of dramatic irony in a pre canon fluff fic to complicated feelings and divides set now. I just love how Bruce really cares about Harvey and refuses to give up on him. Also I love it when Harvey loves Bruce and despises Batman without knowing they are one and the same (although he may suspect a connection but he assumes they just know each other or something).
Jay Garrick/Alan Scott- This is a really good pairing for Golden Age shenanigans. Also outsider perspective about them in their civilian identities in the “why does that college student know that broadcaster?” sort of way could be fun. If you wanna go with someone thing set when they are older then I’d something that focused on how close the decades brought them together.
Joan Garrick/Molly Mayne- I really love Golden age Joan. She was tough and strong minded. She was exactly the sort of person it took to get what she wanted. She isn’t taking anybody’s shit and I love her for it. I have also always been interested in the way Molly’s villainous deeds are rooted from a desire for attention rather than maliciousness. They are pranks more than anything else. Joan worked hard to get where she is, how would she react to Molly who was born into wealth and privilege yet isn’t satisfied with her life? Although if you wanna write fic where they are older you could totally pull a Grace and Frankie type situation and I will love you.
Barbara Gordon/Bette Kane- The tennis champ and the commissioner’s daughter. What would bring these two together? Does Bette harbor any feelings of resentment about Babs being the new Batgirl? Does Barbara have any opinions on Bette’s time as Batgirl?
Pamela Isley/Selina Kyle- Ooooooh. These two could have some fun together. That’s really all I have in mind. Them being terrible, awful, criminal, and having a lot of fun together.
Hal Jordan/Kyle Rayner- I would love something set during the era where Hal was a villain for these two featuring all the foe yay and complicated, conflicted emotions. Alternatively I would also love fic where Hal is a good guy who is trying to take Kyle under his wings and show him the ropes (even if Kyle has already advanced past anything Hal had achieved as Green Lantern at that point he would still try) featuring them getting to know and like/love each other. Also Hal taking Kyle flying would be good.
Selina Kyle/Holly Robinson- Holly is arguably the one Selina cares about most, and I just wanna see some more of that. Just give me moments of their life together. Anything from fluffy to dark. Just fill it to the brim with love, even if it’s complicated love (let’s be honest, especially if it’s complicated love).
Tara Markov/Rose Wilson- Considering Tara’s past with Slade Wilson, her entering into a relationship with Rose Wilson has the potential to be delightfully fucked up and I am here for every moment of. I like Tara to be a little bratty and for Rose to react to it. I like Rose to feel for Tara’s past, even a little bit, and for Tara not to know that. My mental image for this is old brick buildings, cigarettes, and bloody noses. Make of that what you will.
Hartley Rathaway/Wally West- Dorks. Both of them. But they’re dorks in love. Give me them as dorks in love. I would also appreciate any of the typical dark/angsty villain/hero tropes as well. These two things are not inherently mutually exclusive.
Deadpool (Movieverse)
Dopinder/Wade Wilson- I think they would work well together. They are very affectionate towards each other. Did you see that face stroking? Dopinder has grown into a bloodthirsty killer, yes, but he’s still so sweet on Wade. He wants to destroy Wade’s enemies. Just get them together. Also the Interview with a Vampire joke made me want a vampire au for these two, sorry not sorry.
Ellie Phimister/Yukio- They made such a cute couple in this movie, but there wasn’t nearly enough of them for my taste. How did they get together? Have any ideas for some of the adventures/dates they’ve gone on together? For some reason I’m imagining them getting ice cream. Do with that what you will. I’m kinda expecting to get fluff if I get this pairing (which would be wonderful, again they are super cute, and my other prompts are fluffy), but I’d be pretty impressed by a fic of these two that has a dark tone. Mostly because I can’t quite picture it myself even though I know it can be done.
Nathan Summers/Wade Wilson- Cable essentially gave up his everything for Deadpool’s sake at the end of this movie and I found that super touching. Them after this movie with them very much in love but Cable taking a while to not be difficult about his feelings. Or them on the run together! Also one thing I’ve always appreciated about these two is how well they play off each other and balance each other out.
Piotr Rasputin/Wade Wilson- Look, Vanessa wouldn’t have said, “Don’t fuck Colossus,” if she didn’t see a reasonable chance of that happening. So Wade very clearly has feelings for Piotr, but what would it take for Piotr to reciprocate? If Piotr already reciprocates then what would it take for Piotr to act on it rather than just reject Wade’s advances?
Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell - Susanna Clarke
Stephen Black/The Gentleman With the Thistledown Hair- Their whole plotline was hands down one of my favorite parts of this book. The Gentleman adores Stephen and is so devoted to him, but at the same time just doesn’t get it. Stephen is very tired.
Lord Byron/Jonathan Strange- There’s just something special about the way Jonathan’s madness changed everything for Lord Byron. I would love it if you wrote something happening between them at that point in the story. I would also appreciate some of weird love poems Byron totally considered writing about Strange.
Flora Greysteel/Arabella Strange- Post-canon would probably work best for these two, but if you see it differently go for it. I don’t really have much to say aside from that I love the concept of it.
Gilbert Norrell/Jonathan Strange- Anything you have to say about their time as teacher and student? What about after the book when they’re essentially stuck with each other?
Emma Pole/Arabella Strange- I really liked their friendship in this book so maybe something set in that part of the book where Arabella spends a lot of time listening to Emma and Emma spends a lot time trying to explain her situation. Something set when they are both in the fairy court would be equally good.
Arabella Strange/Henry Woodhope- I don’t care if it’s pre canon or post canon or somehow during canon (maybe when Jonathan is away at war?) just give me these two being more than a little too close. Angst over Arabella’s “death” would also be great.
Jonathan Strange/Henry Woodhope- Arabella’s “death” causing them to grow close in a way they wouldn’t have otherwise imagined. Jonathan clinging to Henry because of Arabella’s memory and eventually inventing reasons that Henry reminds him of Arabella in a comforting way that are thin at best. Something could probably be done with the letters Strange sent Henry.
Killing Eve (TV 2018)
Elena Felton/Eve Polastri- Maybe dealing with pain and trauma and sadness together. Maybe them teasing each other lovingly. Maybe Eve taking Elena to Paris. Maybe Elena has a dark side we haven’t seen yet that Eve would be very attracted to. Any way you decide to go I’m down.
Nadia Kadomtseva/Villanelle | Oksana Astankova- I would love to see what their relationship was like in prison. That or maybe Villanelle’s thoughts on Nadia after the fact.
Anna Leonova/Villanelle | Oksana Astankova- I am so intrigued by their past relationship. It is so much my jam it’s actually hard to explain. Just give me all the fucked up fluffy teacher/student stuff between a budding psychopath of a student and a teacher that is more morally ambiguous than she likes to appear. Also that was a whole lot of letters Anna had. Surely something could be done with that. Oh! And in one episode Villanelle was asked if she had been dreaming about Anna again. That could be something to explore.
Eve Polastri/Villanelle | Oksana Astankova- This show had me so intrigued I had to stop myself from watching it all in one sitting, and their dynamic had a lot to do with it. I love their mutual obsession, love, and hatred. I love how they are so different yet more alike than they think. I love how they interact. It’s a game of cat and mouse, but who’s the cat and who’s the mouse? I would love to see what you think happens after the season one finale or canon divergence where Eve didn’t stab her (at least not then).
The Magnus Archives (Podcast)
Georgie Barker/Melanie King- I could totally see these two having a past relationship, and it would be great. I could also see these two having a future relationship, and it would be be great. Also explorations of Georgie’s lack of fear could be pretty interesting.
Martin Blackwood/Elias Bouchard- Martin managed to surprise Elias. How will it change their dynamic now that Elias is unlikely to underestimate him in the way he did before (but is still just as likely to try to manipulate him)? I would also like fic featuring Elias being a total creep set either pre-canon shortly after Martin was hired or during season one when Martin was living at the Archives.
Martin Blackwood/Peter Lukas- Peter seems to be genuinely fond of Martin even if his cheery tone is generally dripping with malice (especially in that line about how they were going to do “great things” from the finale). Martin is scared of Peter and Peter seems to genuinely enjoy that. Also with how isolated Martin is and what the Lukases worship there is certainly room to worry. I can see their dynamic going all sorts of wonderful places (well probably not wonderful from Martin’s perspective).
Martin Blackwood/Tim Stoker- They are both characters who care a whole awful lot but boy do they go about it differently. They deal with problems differently in general. The would clash and compliment each other at the same time in a relationship. Also worried Martin and angry Tim is great combination for their interactions.
Trevor Herbert/Julia Montauk- I enjoyed the whole old married couple vibe they gave off so much. They really complete each other. I would love to hear about more of their adventures together.
Basira Hussain/Melanie King- Them clinging together and growing closer through everything they’ve suffered in the would be great. I would also love them having fun and shit talking and being happy.
Basira Hussain/Alice “Daisy” Tonner- They love each other so much. Maybe something set during their time on the force together or when Basira was essentially a professional hostage. Delving into Daisy’s murdery side and Basira’s thoughts on that is always good.
Gerard Keay/Trevor Herbert/Julia Montauk- I had never thought about it before I saw it in the tag set, but I really like the idea of Gerard being a part of this relationship. Especially since with how he feels about his life after death to call how that would go complicated would be be an understatement. I love it.
Gerard Keay/Gertrude Robinson- There’s just something special about the way Gerard’s mommy issues clearly factored into their relationship and the way that Gertrude was very much using him and all the secrecy and lies that makes this so appealing to me. I would love something set when they’re running around America.
Mary Keay/Gertrude Robinson- Give me a story about two ruthless women who for the most part work against each other but have a strange romantic connection at the same time. Just all the foe yay.
Julia Montauk/Robert Montauk- What I want from this is just things being super creepy and fucked up. Robert was a serial killer and Julia was the most important person in the world to him. Creepy and fucked up can be done here whether it’s set before he was caught or when she visited him in jail. Perhaps she was so important that exactly what she was to him began to blur in his mind. I would also appreciate news articles or true crime books or documentaries speculating on the true nature of their relationship.
Julia Montauk/Alice “Daisy” Tonner- Their urges to kill, to hunt would go so well together if they ever met. Oh, it would be a beautiful and bloody courtship.
Gertrude Robinson/Michael Shelley- He adored her so much his heart could hardly contain it. That much was clear from the time we heard that old recording of him. Explore that adoration and how Gertrude uses it.
Danny Stoker/Tim Stoker- Maybe something set before Danny’s death that strangles us with the dramatic irony or maybe something after Danny’s death but before Tim knows what to and is utterly destroyed and is starting to realize his feelings might have been different than what he thought. Maybe something involving Tim and Not!Danny with Tim finding Not!Danny disturbing her intriguing (that is if he hasn’t been brainwashed, if he has then he’s happy and doesn’t know anything is wrong).
Maniac (TV 2018)
Annie Landsberg/Ellie Landsberg- Ellie was so important to Annie that when she died Annie lost a huge part of herself. I would like anything for them from weird moments between them in their past when they were going through tough times and needed to be close to make it to Annie’s feelings for Ellie becoming infinity more complex and weird after her death. Also with all the universes Annie went through in the trial that there has to be at least one where they were something other than sisters (or better yet, still sisters but are very much involved).
Annie Landsberg & or / Owen Milgrim- With that ending I would adore it to pieces if you showed me some postcanon moments on the way to Salt Lake City or even once they get there. That would be golden. Also I love AUs and this canon is perfect for them. If you wanna expand upon any of the universes we saw in the scenarios or create a new one yourself I welcome you to it.
Greta Mantleray/James Mantleray- Oh boy, does James have mommy issues. They’re so extreme they almost read as Oedipal. Explore that please.
Jed Milgrim/Owen Milgrim- This has the potential to be super fucked up with how borderline psychopathic Jed is and how messed up Owen’s dynamic with his family in general is. I’m here for every moment of complicated disturbingness. Also considering Owen’s issues, that simulation where Jed adored him couldn’t have been the only one (although I’d be interested in AUs where Jed is still awful to him as well, or maybe ones where he sits somewhere in between).
Marvel (Comics)
Liz Allan/Betty Brant- The original spider ladies! Something from that early era of canon when they were essentially the only spider ladies would be lovely. On a completely different note I think a supervillain au would be wonderful for these two.
Frank Castle/Marc Spector- I really love the friendship and mutual respect for each other that we sometimes see in the comics. They compliment each other well. I would love fic of them absolutely kicking ass together and falling in love. Also a Fight Club au featuring these two would be great and you know it.
Lorna Dane/Wanda Maximoff- I am very interested in how these two deal with each other and how they feel about each other. What makes them different and what makes them the same? Also who would be the one to initiate things?
Bobby Drake/Warren Worthington III- We know Bobby has a crush on Warren. Just let it be requited. These two would lend themselves well to fluff. Also I think blood that heals people is a wonderfully gruesome take on the role of the medic as well as an underrated power Warren had, and fic for this pairing with Warren as the angel of death would be yes.
Emma Frost/Angelica Jones- Give me all the twisted student teacher stuff where Emma is being horribly manipulative and Angelica is naive and needs a hug. I mean there is already canonical gaslighting.
Felicia Hardy/Mary Jane Watson- The party girl and the bad girl. I see plenty of glitter and hopping fences and meetings in the dark of the night. Maybe it was supposed to be a meaningless, anonymous one night stand, but it didn’t stay that way. Now there’s feelings. Also Mary Jane having a lot of anger (maybe twinged with grief) and Felicia dealing with it. Also this is definitely an age gap pairing for me (with Felicia as the elder), but if you wanna make them the same age I’d be happy with that too.
Matt Murdock/Peter Parker- These two could really bring out the best in each other. They could also bring out the worst in each other. The later is slightly more likely. They’ve known each other forever (from almost the start of Peter’s time as Spider-Man), and you could really put them together at any point in that forever and I’d be down. They have a lot of trust in each other. Also sparring and Peter’s twisted sense of humor and anger issues.
Matt Murdock/Marc Spector- I’m just intrigued by this idea. I think they work really well as foils. How would Matt deal with Marc? What would Marc think of Matt? How would they get together in the first place? What would a relationship between them be like? While I’m not quite sure of the answers to these questions they fascinate me.
Elektra Natchios/Natasha Romanov- So similar and yet so different. Them being antagonistic and flirty would be great, but seeing them actually get along would also be great. I tend to imagine them in the same place with goals that cannot coexist.
Peter Parker/Flash Thompson- There’s so much that can be done with this ship and I love it all. From tension between a bully and a nerd who used to be friends to somehow becoming friends again and new feelings emerge as they navigate this new ground to old friends who have seen a lot in their young lives and are tired.
Illyana Rasputin/Rahne Sinclair- Illyana is a witch and Rahne is a werewolf. Rahne is very religious and Illyana was raised in hell. Just give me all the horror with religious undertones/imagery (that second part is totally optional but the foundation is there). You can go on the more spooky side of scale if you don’t want to write anything scary but I do want it to be the sort of creepy a story about a witch and a werewolf can give us. Just I can see mist over the moors and screams from hell and pentagrams and an almost full moon. I know in the early days of the New Mutants Rahne didn’t like Illyana and so it could be interesting to explore her feeling the way she did in canon while also having a crush. For some reason I associate the song Unchained Melody with them, do whatever you like with that information.
Gwen Stacy/Mary Jane Watson- Give them the happy ending they deserve. Or you can bring the angst. You could probably still manage angst even in AUs where Gwen didn’t die. Any way you decide to go I am here for these two.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)
Ganke Lee/Miles Morales- We didn’t get much of Ganke in this movie, but I liked what we did get. I think there’s a million places you can take these two post canon especially with the identity reveal at the end. Also I think these two would be adorable together which is what really matters.
Miles Morales/Peter Parker- The only way I can really see this happening storywise is if you go canon divergence au where Peter doesn’t die ten minutes after meeting Miles and actually does get to mentor him, but if you see things different go for it. Oh! The ghost of Peter Parker would probably also work. But just all of the idolizing hero worship on Miles’s part and not being as perfect as he seems on Peter’s part.
Miles Morales/Peter Benjamin Parker- I really appreciated how odd Spider-Noir was and how screwy his attempts to provide guidance were (like when he essentially congratulated Miles for having a great tragic backstory). I wanna see more of that with a dash of greyscale morality angst (get it cause he’s in black and white, I’m so funny). Just playing around with any classic Noir tropes would be great. Also is there a Miles Morales in Spider-Noir’s world? What is he like? What are his interactions with Spider-Noir like?
May Parker/Olivia Octavius- So, Aunt May/Doctor Octopus has been one of the rare pairs of my heart for years now. I don’t think I need to say how good this movie was to me in that regard. I’m generally very excited about this pairing. Just, how did they meet? What was their past relationship like? Were they on good terms afterwards? Did the romantic relationship ever actually end? Also Liv moving in with May and Peter and Peter just internally screaming the whole time because Liv is a super villain is something I would find very funny.
Peni Parker/Peter Benjamin Parker- He seemed to get along with her very well and was kind to her. I liked the way he would comfort her. Also Peni is a much more serious and tragic character in the comics and I feel like the inherent grimdarkness of Spider-Noir’s world could be a way to explore that within this incarnation of the character.
Peter B. Parker/Peter Benjamin Parker- They are both disasters in their own way, but in different enough ways that I think them being disasters together would work out pretty well. Or at least it would be entertaining. Either way I’m there with popcorn.
